I'm looking for a mid 50's to mid 60's johnson...hp 15-30 or similar. Any condition considered. Just to hang off the back of my 11'6'' aristocrat.

I'll keep my eyes out Ari.
Thats if you don't want the Westbend.
I think by the pics and the controls, it had a Johnson . Am I right?

i'm told so - but not sure of the age or size of the original johnson. If i get to melbourne in the near future i will have a look at your collection as at this stage im after anything of the same era that would suit an 11" ply boat...limiting really.

OK make sure that if you go for an old motor that it has been only in fresh water. In the long run it'd be best to wait till you find a good going outboard. Most of the good old motors have come from country areas that have fresh lakes and rivers.  Strange it looks bigger than 11 ft have you measured it. also it probably has a short shaft so dont buy one with a long leg. If it is 11 ft, go for an 18hp it would be great.
