Geez Neil,
Those props tend to go quite a fair distance, even without the rest of the aircraft attached to them. We were told the authorities commenced their original search some 25kms (as the prop flies) from you, in the Camden area!

Its a shame your weren't the first to get to it. That prop would have looked real good in your back room!

 Hi Guy ,
The west/east flight path crosses the river at the boat ramp when making a direct approach .
All others on this approach turn right to go out over the ocean and come in from the south or left ,head north and then turn south to land .
These turns are also over Picnic Point so the SAAB could have been turning at the time of loss.
I love spotting aircraft from littlies to A380's although thankfully out of earshot .

Would be nice to have one of the old wooden blades of which there are quite a few about .

Hope you enjoyed Neville as much as we enjoyed Dubbo  Smiley

Yeah, we sure did.
The Neville Show was great. MERCMUM won two prizes in the cake division as well as two prizes in the potted plant division. She's still grinnin'   Grin

Did you know one of the nearest towns to Neville is Barry, also nearby is Hobbys Yards?

Trusting you and the bride had a top time out West as well!
