Hi,
I'm looking for at least one, if not two OMC transom clamp handles (alloy preferred) to suit a 10hp 'rude.  I think they are all pretty much interchangeable for the smaller OMC motors?

Thanks,

RUDEMAN.

I may have some of these soon (my brother has a few old engines to get rid of that I might grab for parts)

I haven't had time to do anything with it lately, but occasionally I put more WD40 on the broken bolts Smiley
Once I have a couple of other jobs out of the way I will strip it down completely and start the cleanup process!

Here's one of the old Evinrudes I was going to grab and offer on here in case anyone is keen on a restoration or needs parts.

I love those 9½hp ‘rudes. When we were kids, they were known as frogs. It’s pretty easy to see why

Are either of them runners? Most parts are still available. The parts that tend to fail at this age, are Coils and Condensers, so I've learned.

there's only one of that model, but it looks pretty complete and should run with minor work.

The other one is a later model (possibly seized from memory) and there may be something more like your 10hp.

I'm working on having some space for more old engines before I commit to picking them up Smiley

Whoops, now I see... on closer examination your two pics are of the same motor! I thought I was looking at two different motors, my bad.
I'm kind of interested in the seized motor you speak of.  Usually, I travel to Sydney about every 10 to 14 days for work related reasons. Perhaps we can meet up sometime?

yep, let me know when you'll be around. I'm usually fairly flexible with work times.

I'll PM you some contact details.
