I'm sorry, but I'm not sure where to post this link....ideally the au forum would be renamed "vintage boats on eBay", without the "Savage" ....moderators, please feel free to move the post.

A rather classic old wooden speedboat with a stumpy engine (which doesn't look that old to me). Nor sure whether I'd use the 1963 life jackets though!

Believe it or not AA, the Johno' is older that you!

It will be a shame to seperate the boat and the Holden wagon. The wagon looks to be an absoulte corker as well. Smiley

Yes a Seacraft same name as the boating magazine of the time .
I have a few copies but if I follow that line Dr WhoA won't sleep at night  Grin

That is a corker.
How about the condition. I had a very similar hull but it didn't have the Seacraft stamp. It's pictured on the board somewhere
Anyway I'm sure this pic is worth keeping in our files

Passed in at $1193.93..wierd, you'd think they would have posted $1200  Wink

Great boat for someone if sold close to that. Just shows you that people want projects. magine the hours to get a boat to that condition.

Yes strange  - Market forces ?  Cheesy
I think it is worth a lot more than that .
Dr WhoA brings up a very good point as to where to post this item .

If we are really wanting to expand our site there is plenty of room for these craft and their history .
Without getting away from Vintage and Outboards .

As hinted , I have some  (what Customs call illustrative descriptive matter ) .  Grin
In the confines of our sphere someone somewhere can post new questions  that maybe not thought relevant .

If that was in WA you would see me on the Swan River looking dandy.
Or most likely with the cowl off  Grin
