Love the "tiger stripes"...

Just like a longer, better presented version of my old girl....with numerous better modifications!

Hi A ,
The 'Tiger Stripes ' are the start of the ingress of water .
There are many many stories including many restoration problems and a good history to this craft .
New nose , new bum ,medically speaking and ongoing refurbishing .

' Make me an offer ' or swap  Grin

Ooooh,

I thought the stripes related to grain changes on the veneer.....

Given that my old girl is painted with "house paint" , she actually seems quite water resistant!

I'm planning on a repaint this winter, but no issues with waterproofness to date.

I'm actually very happy with her.....except that she seems best suited to "smoother waters" - I'm just not prepared to bang a fiberglassed  sheathed wooden hull around in rougher  stuff, in case she sinks. That senario would be very inconvenient to me. So, sorry, no swap.

A

Sure is a good looker.  I like the lines, all the proportions balance.  Nice.

Hello All
I have at last found another Sanyo Camcorder so I can view footage of SX-2 taken in 1996. The original one won't release or accept cassettes .
As there has been a lot of interest  Wink  in seeing  my girl on the move I would like to convert footage and post on Youtube for Board members.
Can anyone assist in this transition ?
It will be worth it !

Thanks
Neil
