See http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/ski-boat-savage-/120864463291?pt=AU_Boats&hash=item1c241559bb.

If you have a look at our Jav number 13, I feel the area of the foredeck near the nav' light is different to the norm' and the colour is a newer one. That colour first came on the scene with the Electra's in the 70's. Perhaps Gillian can shed some light on your question Ken? For my money, I'll say the Jav was discontinued in 1970 and number 13 looks like it was the last version.

The motor is a S/S 950 1966 model fitted with 1967 TNT . I really doubt they have repowered her. The seats look to be exactly same as the ones which were in my Dad's 1965 Savage Pursuit.
Nice rig indeed. Cool

Interesting, I was aware the windscreen changed to non-wraparound at some stage.
You sure have a sharp eye, Mercman, and I am impressed that you can identify the T&T year, let alone the motor.

Actually, I've made a Boo Boo there. Mercs TNT first hit the market in 1966 not 1967 as I wrote in my last post. Woops. Smiley The motor probably had the TNT fitted at the Dealeship.

When I was a boy, my dear old Dad always said, he wished I had the same enthusiasm for my School Work, as I did for boats and outboards.
I was a real dunce at School, that's for sure.

Hey Ken,
This cool Brown Jav' was passed in again at $3000 without a single bid again. Sad

Thanks MERCMAN, I had been busy and not followed that one.
Not even a bid through two listings!  I wonder if location had anything to do with it?

I laughed at your previous post ... my Dad said exactly the same about me!
