Hi Ken,
Great footage, where did ya find that?

Here are just a few of people & their boats (outboarders) I recognized.
Ken Evans
Brenton Harrison
Peter Guyatt
David Toyer
Bert Hines
Robbie McMain
John Hudson (possibly)
Mal Hart
Gordon Sorenson
Brian Troy
Bob Halliday (possibly)

A good trip down memory lane at lunch time.

I started racing about two years after that stuff was filmed.

Hey, David, was Donna the one on the right at the 3.39s mark??................

A child of the 60's, Suzanne, Dianne, Jane, Mary Anne, Donna, Lou and Fiona could all (more correctly "each") have been my mother................except that she would never have been at events like that! Mmmmmmmmm. Think I've still stuffed up the English here. What I meant was that all of them were old enough to be my mother! (If you had ever met my mother, you'd realise what a faus pas I'd made.

I'm showing my age Andrew. It was about the time between when I used to dream of an inline 6 merc and when I actually got one fo my 18th Birthday. I had the choice of a new Mini Minor or the 1966 silverband merc. Roughly the same price in 66. I chose the Merc and I'll tell the story again, Parkview Marine (Mick Oliver) delivered it to my parents house in Glen Iris and I had them bring it into my bedroom and lay it at the foot of my bed. It wasn't there long as I finished building my Mouldcraft soon after. Here is the link to the mouldcraft and my motor plus a shot of Suzanne Smith and Cathy Farrell in it at Eildon Wier(let them Google that) The Nice pic of my boat by itself was at Mud Island.
