Yep I'm doing the restoration.  As far as I know I'm the third owner.  the first built it, the second found it in a shed, gave it a paint and polish and put the tohatsu on it and now I've repaired the hull (many, many hours).  I have to paint the bottom, varnish the sides and put it back in the water.  I'd like to swing a merc 750 or similar of the transom or find another Lark 3 40hp and have twin engines but that will be after it's back in the water. I'll put some more pics up soon.

Great looking hull, looks a bit like a Caporn. I like the twin cockpit

I've finally got paint on the hull now.  I'm waiting for the numbers to be hand painted and then I can varnish her.  should be done in a few weeks.  it's been a long rebuild this one.
I have still not found the right motor for her.  the original 'rude big twin is cool but a 61 merc 700 would be ideal. still haven't found one after looking for a long time now.  there is a 1250 on here ATM that might be OK but i really would prefer a white one.

Yeah, I'd hesitate to put more than 70 on her

Hi Karmann,
The 1250 is a Long Shaft, you require a Short Shaft.

I really like your idea of the Twin 40's!
I know where there is a Short Shaft I6 700, I'll ask the owner if he wants to part with it yet.
